In September 2014, a hospital incinerator was constructed by members of the Kirakira Works Department and a member from SIF. The incinerator was constructed from recycled materials including a: concrete mixing chamber, 44-gallon drum, truck exhaust, and an old hospital bed for the frame. The project cost was $270 AUD.
